In the future the United States, now known as Panem, are split up in Districts. Katniss Everdeen lives in the twelfth district. Each Year a tribute is chosen from each of the twelve districts of Panem. The Tribute is forced to participate in a ‘game’ called The Hunger Games. In this game, twenty-four tribute hunt eachother down, till only one of them is left. That single Tribute is allowed to return home in all the glory it brings in beeing a killer.
At first I didn’t want to read this book. Not because people told me it was pretty violent, but because everyone told me: OMG YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK, ITS AMAZING!!!! I generally don’t read the books people tell me I HAVE to read. But then I got it as a Birthday present and I had to read it. Turns out I actually injoyed reading a more violent book, then for instance Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. I read this book a few years ago for the first time and I have read it over and over again, just for the fun of it.
Info’s about the book:
Written by: Suzanne Collins
>BOOK 1 IN A TRIOLOGY
I give this book 9`☆ | 10 `☆
I liked it alot but I don’t really like love triangles. I don’t know why, I just don’t. Then also the book has some moments where, I personally thought ‘Really Katniss; you trust him? He’s only waiting for the right moment to kill you.’ But then again every book has that.
Ok, Umm anyway. The Hotel didn’t have any WiFi. Idiotic, I know. I’m in Italy right now and it pretty much rocks, but also sucks. I had a little incedent and ripped open the skin over my knee while playing soccor, but I’m all better now. Up next are these series, which I have all read, but failed to blog about:
3.Shadow Falls Camp
4.Percy Jackson series #2
6. Ruby Red & Co.
> But NOT necessarily in that order. Just a little heads up. 😉
Have fun reading,
